I have a variety of art and craft things such as play-doh, paint, finger paints, art crayons and art projects.

I, better than anybody, understand the need for homeschooling families to get a break every now and then. I love my children, but their learning styles are so different that my brain was over worked and needed a break every once in a while.

I homeschooled my girls through Connections Academy (ORCA) for almost 2 years, they are now in a B&M Charter school but I am still at home with my 3yo son, doing some childcare. I wanted to offer a 'day off' to the parents who are at home 24/7 with their children and need that time to decompress every once in a while.

I can take school age kids during the day and help them get through their scheduled work - whether that's on-line, book work or worksheets... So you can have a day of rest either once a week or once a month - whatever you need!

Doctor's Appointments, time alone with spouse or friends, or just a day to get your hair cut and some shopping done... I'd like to help.

I have 10 years of experience doing childcare - 2 years with homeschooling my own girls (now 10yo & almost 8yo). I also have experience with learning disabitilties, ADD/ADHD, sensory issues, mild Autism/Asperger's, DD, surgical issues, speech delays/therapy and physical therapy. I am open to children of all abilities but they must be ambulatory and toilet themselves in my program.

I had a thought on how we (as providers) can possible help stop these awful people that are trying to rob us blind.

If any Provider has put their email address on their ad here at Craigslist they most likely have gotten a man or a woman responding to their ad saying they are out of the country and want you to watch their child. The email is full of broken english. They want to send you a cashiers check or money order and they ask that you to deduct your fees and send the remaining money back to them.

I dont know how much these people read because I will send them a ridiculous reply and they still say "ok, sounds great" so I dont want to put my solution on here just incase these scammers can actually read, but please if you get a lot of these kinds of emails send me a little note. I would love to share my idea.

I know how limited day care is in Sweet Home and how important it is to find someone that will work with you and your day care hours. I am a stay at home mom that is looking to add a few playmates for my 3yr old. Full and part time positions available. Pretty flexible on availability. I am registered in the Criminal History Registry for child care providers and can take DHS payments. I also have a BA in child development and a care providers CPR card.

We have a nice sized home (plenty of play space for the long rainy season ahead) with a huge yard for the kiddos to play in as well as a ton of toys and outdoor equipment to enjoy. There are crafts and various activities through out the day.

I do not provide transportation, but the school bus from Holley Elementary goes right in front of our house and can take before and after school kids that can access their school through that bus route.

I am located right off HWY 20 near the Straw Palace and Jeff King Contractors on Fairview Rd. It is easy on/off access to the highway for all those who are commuting. We are a drug/alchohol/smoke free home, however, we do have two dogs which will be elsewhere while daycare kiddos are here.

My wife Pamela has written several ads before about adopting children. I am in the Navy and I get sad when I see other guys getting off the ship when we pull in from overseas and they have children waiting for them. I love my wife and I dream of one day coming home to a child waiting for me. We are an interracial couple that has experienced difficulty having children during our entire marriage. We have gone through 3 IVF procedures and got pregnant during the first one for only a few weeks until my wife had a misscarage. We did our IVF's in Washington DC at Walter Reed Army Medical Center because it was cheaper than going to a civilian doctor for an IVF.. Before we tried IVF we tried lots of other procedures like, IUI with Clomed and IUI with injectables. None of these things worked. She has been diagnosed with poly cystic ovaries and has had ovarian drilling and laproscopies to help improve our chances of getting pregnant. We have given so much to have children both emotionally and financially. My wife posted ads before asking for help with adoption and we got a lot of replys from people that told us about foster care through social services and options like that that we could explore. We tried to do the foster care and they require family references. This is a problem for us because we are a interracial couple and our families didn't agree with us when we got married and they wanted noughthing to do with us and they refuse to talk to us or have anything to due with us because of the race issue. They asked us not to ever call again and told us they didn't want to see us. I am posting this ad because we need your help. The only chance that we have at becoming parants is through IVF and we can not afford it. I have tried to refinance our house but the banks tell me that we just don't have any equity to refinance. We gladly welcome your prayors or any advice.
We met a couple through a friend in New York about 5 months ago. They were dating and both in college and not ready to be settled down with a kid yet. So when they discovered they were pregnant they made a decision to go through with adoption. They could not afford to keep a child, it took almost all there money just to keep the rent and electric bill paid. So when we met Nicole and Shawn we thought everything was going to work out great. We enjoyed talking to Nicole and Shawn a lot, we took trips to see them and the unborn babies. We went to doctors appointments together to see the babies on ultrasound and things like that. We quickly became attached to the twin girls so much that we designed the baby room to match our personnel favorite cartoon character from childhood. Winnie the Pooh. As it turned out that was also Nicole's favorite. We got twin matching cribs and dressers for clothes, a changing table, lots of clothes, diapers, shampoos, pictures for the walls, and stuffed Winnie the Pooh dolls that talk when you squeeze them. The room looked so beautiful. Nicole cried when she saw the pictures of it.

Everything was so great and we felt finally soon our lives would be complete. As it got closer and closer till the due date things starting changing between Nicole and Shawn and us. Nicole would ask us to loan her some money to pay her electric bill because they turned off the lights on her. So we would from time to time give them money to help them out and Nicole would always ask us not to tell Shawn so we didn't. Sometimes Shawn would find out about it and would say that he would pay it back in small amounts when he could. We did get some checks from Shawn, but the next day Nicole would be on the phone asking for more and more money and then she would tell us about the new twin baby stroller that she just bought. The same one that I saw in the store last weekend for $350.00.

We both became worried about this and as our finances were being pushed to their ends by now could not afford to give any more money to them. They eventually stopped calling after the money ran out and we have not heard from them since.

This left me and my wife depressed and confused. After crying about this for a few weeks we decided that we still want to adopt a child one day and that we should give in another try. So we put out an ad on the Internet I know that it takes a lot of time to make the decision to adopt or not....

I have several openings for full and part time child care in my home. I've done home day care in the past and am looking to start up again. I do have a BA in child development, cpr card and am registered with the criminal history program for child care providers. I have taken DHS payments in the past and am willing to do that again too! I am located right off highway 20 by the straw palace. It makes it nice for parents that commute. You can drop off and pick up on the way without having to go clean across town! My road makes a U shape that let's you get on and off the highway really easy.

Hi. I am wondering if anyone out there would like to trade some childcare days to off set the cost of daycare. I have 2 children ages 5 and almost 2. I am needing care on Thurs, Fri, and/or Sun. I am available on Mondays and Tuesdays. I am also available evenings after 6:30 on Wed, Thurs, Fri and after 4:30 on Saturdays. I am willing to watch overnight also. I have lots of experience and have good references. I have also taken lots of classes at OSU on child development and have been trained in First aid and CPR (I do not have a current CPR certification) Let me know if this might be something you would want to do.
