Good News for Blues Jammers! SKW Brewery's Sea Towne Pub Blues Jam was scheduled to finish off on All Saint's Day, November 1st, but due to increasing turnout or listeners, dancers and lots of good players, owners Steve and Cindy Wilson have decided to make this free and friendly jam permanent . . . yes, I'm talkin' a coastal blues jam every Sunday. We've got a Pro PA system—with monitors courtesy of Froggy at the Calapooia Brewery Jam in Albany (Thanks, man!)— and always a strong house drummer like Leonard Maxson, Danny Pattison or Dean Perkins . . . yours truly, Lozelle Jennings leading on vocals, harp and squeezebox until somebody else wants to front . . . everybody always gets at least three tunes unless they're wreckin' the blues train . . . we've had folks coming in from all over the country and a lotta different singers and instruments . . . flutes, clarinets, saxes, a viola, and percussion . . . so bring your axe & amp and come on down, any Sunday you're in Newport town, 4—7 pm.
