Hi - I am a mellow Vietnam Vet who receives a monthly check from the government. In my past life I was a cabinetmaker but am not able to do full production work any longer. I get around and do not look disabled. I am desperately looking for a house to share with one other person - male or female. I enjoy reading, cooking gardening camping and spending valuable time with my son. I get along well with just about everyone and enjoy traveling to meet other others.

One thing I really need is quiet with no drama. I am a single man who likes his time alone but still manages to bust loose occasionally and enjoy serious or frivilous conversation. I pick up after myself but am not a fanatic about it.

I've been asking around for a place to live, but since it's the middle of the school year it's been hard finding someplace open so I figured I'd post an ad. I'm a clean, responsible, and a laid back person. I've been living in apartments with groups of guys that party frequently the last few years and now I'd like to find a place that's more quiet and more clean. if you are thinking of renting at the Filmore inn apartments also known as the quads, don't. the $200 reservation "fee" that you will be told is fully refundable is in fact not. they apparently make their money by screwing over people who are looking for a place to live. The managers act nice to lure you into renting from them, and then treat you like a piece of shit on their shoe.

I've lived in my current apartment for over 4 years now, and it simply isn't cutting it any more.....WE NEED MORE ROOM!! While a 3 bedroom is ideal, a 2 bedroom would work if the rooms are large. Washer/Dryer hookups and a dishwasher are a must. Garage and/or basement/storage room a plus. Prefer a place with a yard and room for kids to run (acreage?). We are also very handy and can fix most things around the house, as well as maintaining any yard maintenance. This could work out perfect for you if your home is in need of a little TLC.
