Dalton is seeking an experienced leasing agent to shine at 3 of our Corvallis properties - Arcade, The Park at 5th Street, and Santana Court.

Arcade – 22 units
Located with just a few minutes’ walk to the OSU campus, Fred Meyer, and shopping centers – this community is in the perfect location. Arcade offers indoor bike storage and private laundry facilities.

The Park at 5th Street – 84 units
This is a community you will be proud of! With covered bike racks, seasonal pool, community garden, and BBQ area, you’ll find plenty of ways to show off the property.

Santana Court – 70 units
Reser stadium is right outside of the office door! What more can we say? This community is also located moments away from downtown, the Riverwalk, and Saturday market.

The successful candidate will enjoy working with people, strong communication skills, enjoy working as a team, and possess a “can do” attitude.

Mainly Part-time, the schedule averages 20 hours a week, full time hours during the summer only
Work shifts are varied throughout the week with some Saturday's as required
Office hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm


TYPICAL DUTIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
o Check phone/email messages throughout the day
o Clean office/common areas and walk grounds each day
o Complete time card daily
o Market/lease apartments
o Accept payments and store them in office for community manager
o Follow up on guest cards and marketing leads
o Provide outstanding customer service
o Inspect vacant apartments – Freshen daily
o Guide our new resident from the application process to receiving their keys
o Ensure a pleasant move-in/out experience for our residents
o Implement/maintain resident retention program
o Manage/solve resident correspondence
o Process move-in, move-out, and lease renewal paperwork
o Mail or hand carry paperwork to the main office weekly
o Monthly market survey
o Create and deliver monthly newsletters
o Update online advertising
o Update/email weekly reports to main office
o Travel for meetings, classes, and seminars
o Attend a minimum of two Multi-Family Northwest educational classes per year
o Attend a company off-site manager/safety meetings, a minimum of four times per year
o Annually attend Spectrum Trade-show and Multi-Family Northwest Fair Housing Fair

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Show and lease apartments
o Daily upkeep of all common areas
o Lifting at least 20 pounds
o Sit, bend, stand, and use stairs
o Develop professional working relationships with co-workers, managers, vendors, and office staff

REQUIREMENTS:
o High school diploma or equivalent
o Strong computer skills – proficient in MS Office
o Basic knowledge of Oregon Tenant/Landlord Laws and understanding of Federal, State, and Local Fair Housing Laws – Willing to train the right candidate
o Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable vehicle
o At least 1 year of property management experience or 2 years of customer service, sales, or leasing experience


BENEFITS:
$15.00 - $16.00/Hour Depending on experience
20% off of market rent
Performance based bonuses, sick pay after 60 days
Simple IRA w/ 3% company match after one year
