Inherited my grandpa's sports card collection. I collect cards but sports isn't really my thing, so looking to pass this along to someone who'll actually appreciate it.
What's included:
2,000+ cards from 1970s-2010s (80% baseball, 15% basketball, 5% football)
Heavy on 1973-1978 Topps baseball
A few opened sets, 90, 91, 93 (was thinking $5 each, not included in card count)
Some of the highlights I recognized (and I am not educated on this) were sleeved and protected.
Some of what I recognized: Gary Carter, Jim Rice, and Andre Dawson rookies | Nolan Ryan & George Brett record breakers | Johnny Bench, Reggie Jackson, Tom Seaver, Pete Rose, Brooks Robinson, Rod Carew, Willie Stargell, Bob Gibson, and plenty more HOFers
There's definitely more to find in the bulk. Between the sleeved cards and what's still in there, the collection is comfortably worth $500+ raw, and more to someone who’s looking to grade and sell individually.
Asking $350 OBO for everything, or feel free to make offers on singles/bulk/sets separately. Thinking $150 for the bulk, if you’re just interested in volume.
Condition varies - mostly VG-EX for the better stuff. Please feel free to request more pictures, I was limited here but have plenty more.
Local pickup preferred, but can discuss shipping. Just looking to get these to someone who enjoys the hobby.
