Today, in this galaxy, new and used car prices soar skyward like a hot-rodded T16 poised to bullseye a Womp rat.

In this world, you're going to need what I consider to be the Millennium Falcon of small SUV's. Like Solo's trusty Correlian-freighter-turned-smuggling-vessel, this 2003 Pilot "may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts!"

With just under 400k (380's), this car has seen it's adventures during my travels as a touring musician, hauling gear and bandmates, and generally bringing freedom, joy, and groovy music to the far reaches of the galaxy. For its age, it is a remarkably smooth ride and the engine still performs very reliably.

Here is a short, incomplete list of good things:
- new tires, new tie rods, new oil, new rear brake pads and good condition front pads, and character, character, character...!

Some things in need of repair (or just leaving them be):
Power steering pump (or possibly steering rack), head gasket, various other suspension maintenance...

Some interior carpeting and panelling has been removed to avoid mold build up duo to moisture leak (common issue for Pilot's). However, IMO, this simply adds to the utilitarian beauty of this workhorse.

This is an ideal used car for someone willing to stand up to the Empire and fight for the freedom to move about the galaxy without the hand-holding and colonizing 'safety' tech of today's over-engineered cars. I truly believe this car will go for another 100k if treated like the companion that she has the potential to be to the right rebel fighter. As for the question of whether or not it can it do the Kessel run in under 12 parsecs....well, that's for me to know and you to discover, my friend. May The Force be with you....
