DYNAMIC RANGE EXPANDER: This system gives you the ability to compensate for the compression used in FM broadcasting which is the primary reason why FM reception lacks the sonic quality and performance of records and tapes. You will receive a quieter signal with greater dynamic range than other tuners are capable of producing.

CIRCUITRY: Such technology yields the highest possible FM performance available giving you better reception and superb reliability.
MULTIPATH DISTORTION INDICATOR: This diode display will allow you to detect multipath distortion with ease and that cannot be done with other tuners. Once you are aware of this type of distortion, which we feel is a major problem with tuner reception, you can then take the proper action to correct it.
VARIABLE MUTING: The Muting Control lowers the disturbing hissing noise heard between FM stations when tuning. This system allows the user to adjust the Muting Control to a level appropriate to your listening area.

De-Emphasis: You can select the standard 75 u second position or the 25u second de-emphasis position required by outboard Dolby units.
300/75 ohm FM Antenna Inputs: Two sets of
FM antenna terminals are provided. The 75 ohm to be used with coaxial cable and the 300 ohm antenna feeder.
