Stunning vintage 70s Italian coffee table crafted from solid Dolomite marble quarried in northern Italy, warm tone and fine veining.
Features twin hand-carved Ionic column bases supporting a thick beveled glass top.
Statement centerpiece for mid-century, Hollywood Regency, or eclectic interiors.
I recommend getting non slip adhesive tape/circles to act as a buffer between glass top and columns to prevent slipping and scratching (though it is very heavy and doesn’t move easy if bumped).
Condition: Good vintage. The dolomite column bases are solid and stable with natural surface/color variations/pitting and wear consistent with age. Minor chipping on the corners/edges of the columns; that’s typical for vintage dolomite pieces due to its slightly porous nature. No cracks. The beveled glass top is clear and sturdy with a few light surface scratches that I photo above, no cracks or chips. See all photos!
