THANK YOU. Goats have gone to new homes. Will delete in this ad in a few days.
Health forces rehoming small (8) herd of Angora goats. Farm is sold, goats must go by 2/7 or go to auction. Would rather have them in decent homes.
Negotiable rehoming fee, OBO. Will work with rules for 4-Hers (would prefer 4-H homes!)
Minimum pair*, but breaking up the herd is needed as they are mostly related.
They are skittish due to not being handled enough (health issues!) I've gotten behind on feet trimming but are decent, need CD&T shots. I have scrappie tags to put on the younger ones. The older ones have them.
Any supplies for them are available.
Shears go with Buck as he needs yearly shearing.
All are 90% Angora. Buck is 100% Angora with blue eyes. They are white with genes for other colors. Except for the bucks, the others will comb out their fiber around March/April. The younger bucks, won't know if their fiber will comb out or not, yet.
The does have all been exposed to the buck and are likely pregnant. Late February through March is typical birthing time.

Pictures are from this fall, Does and bucklings with buck in distance, Buck, and Whether. Right now they look really muddy.
Buck, Einstein 6 yrs old & Buddy (whether, 7yr) + shears (Ein is very sweet, easy to handle but not that smart)
4 Does: Snow (she is not related to buck), Lahara 3yr, Habbob 2yr, Daffodil 2yr,
2 young twin bucks (can band born, July 2025) Solars & Dusty
I cannot deliver. I maybe able to connect you with folks as I am lining up getting them to auction before mid-February if not rehomed sooner. I WILL give a much better deal than at auction!
I probably will not reply immediately but I will do my best to get back to you in 24hr. Health issues, ok?
*Minimum pair but once they've settled in a new herd, probably about a month or so, I don't care. I've found it is less stressful for them. Buddy has been great to keep with Ein when I wanted to delay breeding but they don't have to stay together forever. I hate dealing with a frustrated billy goat in season, but you might be fine with it.
