Its been a decade now, collecting unusual heirloom fruit trees. There are also uncommon commercial quality fruits well suited to growing in the willamette valley.
Over 120 varieties of different rootstocks were once meant to be used for acedemic purposes, as the elements required to establish a test orchard. OSU once had atest orchard. Some of those varieties used in the early part of the twentieth century test orchard are included. The time has come to pass on what i have found to one who can appreciate such natural resources. Originally the varieties collected were to be used to make award winning cider. The whole lot of trees can be purchased for a single price. Otherwise you can tell me what ir tastes are, and purchase these outstanding varieties for 15 bucks. You can make a purchase either in Corvallis or in south Salem.
Trees and some other fruiting plants, are two years old, medium size for their age. They were not pushed to grow fastest and were grown in #2 size pots or larger, using organic
methods.
