He is the sire of every calf pictured.
Rudy is 1/2 Red Devon, 1/4 Black Angus & 1/4 Aberdeen Angus…a ‘moderate, composite’ bull, purposely bred for his job.
He’s here to display the BEEF qualities of our herd stock. After siring nearly 40 beef calves in our small ‘grass ONLY’ herd there are a few things that stand out.
EVERY one of his calves exhibit, regardless of dam they’re out of:
- Impressive muscle (meat)- to - frame ratios; NO behemoth butcher carcasses that puts more in the butcher’s barrel than you harvest.
No need for cattle to be taller than your fences!!
- Good, solid, steady growth rates and marbling on grass…WITHOUT the need for expensive grain, pellets or alfalfa.
- Calm, easy going nature when basic needs (food, water, safety) are met…as they should be.
I do all chute work & management myself.
- Sound, quality conformation to support years of reproductive (heifers/bulls) value (under good management).

Some really nice breeding quality HEIFERS will be available to add to or build your own quality herd.
