7 years old. Beautiful blood bay. This mare is a looker!! Extremely flashy. Thick mane and tail! She stands around 15 hands and thick! Big girl! Luna was born on our farm. We owned her Andalusian sire until his passing and we still own her Friesian dam. Both parents are registered however Luna is not.
Luna had hands on her from day 1. Extensively handled as a foal and while growing up. She has always been treated well and has had great care her entire life!
We had big plans with Luna.. life, work, kids, health got in the way of that. She was never started under saddle. When she was young she had saddle pads on her and did have ground work done. She was always easy. For the last few years she has just been turned out. She ties, is so so with her feet, loads with a little coaxing. You can touch her all over she loves her butt scratched and will follow you around just so you can scratch it. She is very sweet. Not a mean bone in her body. Never once has she kicked or bit! My kids and Luna have grown up with each other. She gets along with others well, she has been around many dogs, chickens, deer, dirt bikes, farm equipment ect.. Luna cannot be on lush pasture. She is a very easy keeper!
Luna has tons of potential!! She needs a home that will bring her full potential out. She will be able to do anything! She is flashy, great disposition, sure footed. Her future has endless possibilities!! Luna is a project but should definitely be an easy one. She just needs consistency. Clean slate .
