Meet Maida and Ophelia. 2 Mini Nubian de-budded doe goats. They are biological sisters and are a bonded pair, I will not separate. They come from great milkers and are very sweet girls. They are not registered and don't have papers. We bought them in August of 2022, I don't have an exact birth date but they were about 5 1/2 months old at the time. We had intended to breed them and use them for milk but life happened and we now find ourselves needing to re-home them as we cannot give them the time and care they need. They are used to wearing collars, are regularly tied on leads to graze, and have walked on leashes several times. They saw a vet at OSU early 2023 and got a physical and fecal test done and they looked great. We do NOT routinely worm, we only treat parasites in combination with fecal testing to insure there is little chance for resistance to meds used. They are also not vaccinated as we did not want that in our milk goats. We are a closed herd and have had no health issues with them ever. Their diet currently consists of grass/whatever else they find to graze on on the property and grass hay that we harvest from our fields each summer. We occasionally give alfalfa pellets when the weather gets really nasty but they have generally not needed them for weight management. In the spring we give organic goat grain to help balance out their diet as the grass is so rich during that time. They're seriously sweet girls and easy keepers. They love attention and just need a loving home. They have been around kids, horses, dogs, cats, and chickens. Serious inquiries and cash only please. Willing to negotiate price for right home. Can deliver up to an hour away for extra fee.
