Charming antique vintage chair that is sturdy and beautiful. This is a black walnut chair, made in the mid 1800's, in the Victorian style, there is a faint decoration on the back of the chair, the bottom rail (dowel) is flat and curved to accommodate a hoop skirt. The cane seat is hand woven and has no tears or holes. There is a chip (hunk) of wood missing, which is noticible from underneath---see photos. Comes from a non-smoking, pet free home.
