This is a semi-hollow body, electric, steel string tenor ukulele. This semi-hollow tenor shines riffing jazz/blues licks but can also handle as much distortion and effects as you can throw at it. It is truly a “Swiss Army knife” of ukulele tone.
The solid Walnut body is machined out in one piece and the Flamed Maple top is inset directly into the body. This makes for a much lighter and more responsive ukulele with a ton of sustain! The overall tone is a bit more “woody” than a standard solid body uke and definitely leans more towards the jazz/blues sonic territory.
The Walnut neck and Brazilian Cherry fingerboard provide a nice contrast to the body aesthetic and the two-way adjustable truss rod insures perfect playability in any climate or region. The offset geometric fretboard marker inlays are Maple and the fingerboard has white side dots for visual reference. The pickup bobbins are Flamed Maple as well and are made from the same piece of wood as the top!
The fretboard has a 12″ radius that provides a comfortable and ergonomic curvature for ease of playability.
The humbucking pickup is custom wound in house to provide a warm, rich and snappy tone. This pickup sports Alnico 5 magnets and 42 gauge wire providing a touch sensitive playing experience with tons of sonic nuance! The controls are volume and tone, but pulling out on the tone knob deactivates half of the humbucker pickup and engages the “coil split” function. In split mode, the uke is capable of glassy, crystal clear clean tones common to a single coil pickup. You won’t find this versatility on any other uke!
The tuners are 21:1 ratio and have very low backlash. This means that tuning is very easy to dial in and amazingly stable!
The nut is hand carved bone and the bridge saddles are individually adjustable for string height and intonation.
This ukulele comes two strap buttons installed. It comes with a gig bag and extra set of strings.

Strings: Gcea (low G) GHS flat wound custom set: .032, .022, .016, .012.
Electronics: The controls are standard volume and tone. The Alnico 5 magnet hand wound, custom designed pickup has 6500 turns (per coil) of 42 gauge copper wire and has a resistance of about 7 ohms. This gives the pickup a warm, organic tone that reacts nicely to picking nuance. All the bridge saddles are properly grounded to provide the quietest operation possible.
This pickup is wired for “coil splitting”. To access this feature, simply pull out on the tone knob and it will engage a switch that deactivates half of the pickup providing a much more “single coil” tone.

Bridge: Individual string saddles allow for optimum string spacing for the best feel and performance. The bridge saddles have individually adjustable intonation screws as well as standard height adjustment.
