FOSTER NEEDED FOR ELDERLY AUSSIE SD

Hi there. I, like many others, have fallen on extremely hard times. I am now unhoused, though I do have a vehicle to sleep in, and because of lack of housing, I am without work.

This brings me to search for a foster for my 15 year old neutered Aussie. He is a lovely citizen. Was my service dog for many years, from 4-12. He has never had an issue with another animal, he helped me work with dog aggressive dogs many times. He has zero prey or herding drive. He is also quite inactive in his old age, but does love to get out and walk when he feels up for it. His only known medical issue is a tumor at the base of his tail. This affects nothing, but may grow to irritate him as time goes on (has not yet).
His only downside: he is slightly dog reactive. He faced multiple dog attacks in the same week, years ago, and he now whines at dogs when he is on-leash. That is the extent of his reactivity, and could likely be improved if you wish to.

I will require a legal contract. This dog is my best friend, he’s kept me going when I never wanted to. I owe it to him to get him somewhere safe and warm, and take him back when I have a safe place to live, too. He had 6 owners before the age of 4. He cannot be passed around again, I am the person he knows best, but I must do right by him. Please let me know if you have space in your home for my boy. Thank you!
